Role Summary
The Business Development Associate will help convert healthcare facilities into platform partners, onboard licensed medical professionals, attract subscribing patients, promote family and corporate healthcare plans, and ensure new users understand how to use the Imani Health platform effectively.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to build trust in the healthcare sector, communicate technology simply, and turn conversations into measurable adoption and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business, Public Health, Communications or related field
- 1–2 years in sales, marketing, business development, healthcare outreach or relationship management
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets, generate leads and close partnership opportunities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with field work — visiting healthcare facilities and engaging customers directly
- Proficiency with smartphones, laptops, digital platforms and basic productivity tools
- Strong presentation, negotiation and follow-up skills
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in healthcare marketing, hospital sales, pharmaceutical sales, HMO marketing or healthtech
- Existing relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, pharmacies or corporate healthcare associations
- Experience onboarding users or organisations onto a software or mobile platform
- Experience running field activations, community campaigns or corporate wellness outreach
- Understanding of the Nigerian healthcare environment and the challenges patients and providers face
